Product Description

Custom Ford 6R Stall Converter

6RKIT-PTP is a new Ford Torque Converter Kit that can be customized for your application.

The 6RKIT-PTP Contains:

  • 6R Billet Front Cover - the billet cover prevents ballooning in high heat situations
  • Clutch Piston with wider friction area
  • Turbine Hub
  • Impeller Hub
  • Stator


  • The 6RKIT-PTP will work well for vehicles with 500-600 HP (if you make over 600 HP, will need to look at a different torque converter)
  • A maximum 150 shot of Nitrous Oxide
  • Will need the correct stall speed to work with a Turbo Charger
  • Popular with Ford F-150 Trucks 

In order to maximize your stall's performance, we'll want to ask you some questions about your vehicle.

  • What’s the engine size?
  • What type of transmission do you have?
  • How much horsepower do you have?
  • What’s your application?  Are you looking for high performance for speed or heavy duty hauling?
  • Does your vehicle have four wheel drive or two wheel drive?
  • Vehicle weight with Driver?
  • What's your tire size?
  • Rear axle ratio?
  • Have you done any modifications?  For example, do you have any cams or do you run Nitrous Oxide?
